The National Board of Antiquities hereby invites three persons, 2 carpenters and
1 architect, from your country to participate in Workshop no. 4 in the international project " Wooden Culture through Europe", which has been launched by the Council of Europe.

The workshop will take place 30th of June - 13th of July in the Kainuu region and we will be working in a farm consisting of 21 separate buildings. The work includes the production of materials as well as the restoration work.
Arrival day to Finland is 30th of June and departure is either in the evening of 13th or in the morning 14th July.

Enclosed is the preliminary programme for the workshop. The final programme will be send to the participants as soon as we have the names and addresses of the participants confirmed.
Further details will be send to each participant personally.

According to the original agreement each country pays and organises transportation to and from Finland. The Finnish host organisation provides accommodation, the workshop site, all the meals and all the transports during the workshop.
Also the transport from and to the Seutula airport is provided.

We hope Your country is able to participate in our workshop. We look forward to Your confirmation of the names and contact information of the participants by the end of May.
